Among the subjects that came up for discussion included land acquisition and steps required to curtail/minimise damage to rail infrastructure due to natural disasters such as the recent Hud Hud, a SCR release stated.

Mr. Srivastava said the SCR was awaiting the final nod from the Railway Ministry to go ahead with the SPV. He assured Mr. Rao that the last mile connectivity on the Nandyal-Yerraguntla new line project would be completed on a priority and added that adequate funds were allocated in the Railway Budget-2015.
