Probe into beating of child at school

Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Monday ordered an inquiry into the severe beating of a third class student Yashwant at Vikas School in Ramavarappadu.

The child was allegedly beaten badly for not doing homework, that he developed red marks on his legs. The Minister instructed the District Education Officer to submit a report at the earliest for taking action against the school management.
