Prevent labour migration, officials told

District Water Management Authority (DWMA) Project Director S. Rajasekhar Naidu on Tuesday asked the MGNREGA staff to initiate steps to prevent migration of agricultural labourers from the district to the neighbouring States in search of livelihood this summer.

Addressing the field officials of the MGNREGA during a meeting here, Mr. Rajasekhar Naidu said that they should organise a massive awareness campaign in rural areas on the issue.about the steps taken by the government enhancing the workdays from 100 to 150.
