Presentation of literary awards on March 22

Yanam-based Datla Devadanam Raju Sahithi Samstha is going to present ‘Kavita Puraskaram’ to renowned poet N. Gopi and ‘Katha Puraskaram’ to editor of ‘Navya’ Telugu weekly A.S. Jagannadha Sarma at a function to be held on March 22. Founder of the organisation and poet and writer Datla Devadanam Raju, in a statement here on Monday, said that the function would be held at Yarra Venkata Ratna Geetha Mandiram in Yanam from 3.30 p.m. onwards.

Yanam MLA Malladi Krishna Rao would be the chief guest of the function and would release a book titled ‘Kalyanapuram’ authored by Mr. Devadanam Raju, as a sequel to his compilation of short stories ‘Yanam Kathalu.’

Noted poets Endluri Sudhakar and Madhunapantula Satyanarayana Murthy, literary critic Dwana Sastry would speak, the press release said.
