Ponnam slams Pawan Kalyan

March 28, 2014 07:29 pm | Updated July 07, 2016 03:49 pm IST - KARIMNAGAR:

Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar has flayed Jana Sena founder and film star Pawan Kalyan for insulting Telugu people by stating that there were no able candidates to contest elections in the two Telugu-speaking States.

Talking to newsmen here on Friday, he said that Pawan Kalyan had neither agenda nor vision. “He (Pawan) does not know why he started Jana Sena,” he stated. Launching a scathing attack against the film star for making wild allegations against the Congress on the division of the State, he said that the Congress party high command had announced the formation of Telangana only after holding parleys with all political parties.

Flaying his remarks on corruption, he wanted to know how many films the actor had acted in, how much he had earned and how much income tax he had paid so far. He also ridiculed the flocking of film stars to Gujarat to support Narendra Modi’s candidature as Prime Minister.
