PNGRB plans meet on natural calamity

Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) Chairperson S. Krishnan met Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and requested him to extend cooperation for conducting a regional conference to discuss various natural calamities and disaster management.

The board is planning to conduct the conference in May at Visakhapatnam. Mr. Rao suggested constituting a steering committee with Commissioner of Labour Department as nodal officer and the Director of Disaster Management as Co-Convenor, according to a press release here on Thursday.
