The re-examination for Andhra Pradesh PGMET-2014 for entry into PG medical courses will be held on April 27. The earlier examination that was held on March 2, was cancelled due to irregularities and alleged leak of question papers.

According to the directive from the Governor and Chancellor of the university E.S.L. Narasimhan, the re-examination will be held for the 15,000 odd students on April 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The leak had come to light after an enquiry was conducted by the CID at the behest of the Governor.

According to NTR-UHS Vice-Chancellor T. Ravi Raju, the students who had earlier applied for the examination need not apply again but have to download their new hall tickets from the university’s website. However, new students need to apply fresh, he said.

The new schedule for the re-examination will be displayed on the website from Saturday onwards.
