JSP president Pawan Kalyan has moved into a rented house in the Patamata Lanka area of the city.

Sources said the actor-turned-politician had taken the house on lease for two years, by which time the construction of his own house at Khaja in Guntur district would be completed.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan shifted to the new house on Thursday along with his family in a very low-key house-warming ceremony attended only by a few members close to him.

Construction of his house at Khaja is in progress on a two-acre land from where he intends to run his party office also.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s move has sent cheer among the party cadre, who see it as a right decision in view of the forthcoming elections.

The JSP chief has so far visited three districts in the State, and he intends to go around the remaining after setting up base here.

The shifting will also pave the way for constitution of an executive committee of the JSP, which is a new party, it is felt.
