Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue, Endowments) K.E. Krishnamurthy on Friday took a dig at the Opposition parties — BJP, YSR Congress Party and Jana Sena Party — alleging that they were politicising the Tirumala row.

Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat, Mr. Krishnamurthy said the BJP was using the TTD and Tirumala issue to target the State government after the TDP pulled out from the NDA. And it was a public secret that the YSRCP and the JSP became partners in it. JSP leader Pawan Kalyan was dancing to the tunes of BJP and YSRC, he alleged.

“Mr. Pawan is acting to the script prepared by someone like he does in films. But, he should realise that it is not possible in real life. The reel life is different from real life,” he said.

It was unfortunate that Mr. Pawan was supporting the former chief priest A.V. Ramana Dikshitulu “who has no credibility and tarnished image of the TTD.”

His tweets give an impression that he was playing his role in the conspiracy. Mr. Pawan claimed that a senior IAS officer told him that TTD jewellery were stolen during tenure of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Why did he not bring it to the notice of the government then? He should reveal the name of senior IAS officer, the Minister said, adding, “Mr. Pawan is not verifying facts before making a public statement. It reflects his inexperience.”

Mr. Ramana Dikshitulu has no loyalty and faithfulness to the presiding deity after serving as the chief priest for long time. The former chief priest did not utter a word when YSR government issued a GO. 338 asserting that only two hills belonged to the TTD. He neither spoke when other faith propagation was taking place at Tirumala during the YSR regime, he said.

‘Records available’

The government would make Justice Wadhwa Committee and Jagannatham Commission reports public if required.

The government has records of the Lord Venkateswara from 1952.

There were no records of jewellery presented by Sri Krishndevaraya by 1952 itself, he added.
