May 05, 2014 12:59 am | Updated 12:59 am IST - SRIKAKULAM:

Congress’ star campaigner and film actor Chiranjeevi on Sunday said that residual Andhra Pradesh would witness rapid development only if the Congress was elected to power. He conducted a roadshow from Ungaralameeta to Rajam town, covering around 20 km.

He asked people to extend their support to former Minister and Rajam Congress Party candidate Kondru Muralimohan, Vizianagaram MP candidate, Botcha Jhansi. Mr. Chiranjeevi said people were fed up YSRC and TDP.

The Congress has shown its strength in Rajam constituency by mobilising huge crowds for Chiranjeevi’s tour. The party leaders expressed happiness over the good response. The party made the most of Chiranjeevi’s image to get votes. It is hopeful of winning Rajam as Mr. Murali developed the constituency with Rs.1,000 crore.
