ONGC extends aid to improve health index

ONGC Rajahmundry Asset led by P. Krishna Rao, Group General Manager and Asset Manager, extended aid worth Rs. 25 lakh to Community Health Centre, Narsapur, West Godavari. Dr. K. S. Thrimurthulu has received a sum of Rs 12.5 lakh as first instalment from the Asset Manager. The aid includes ambulance van, dental equipment, ICU beds, operation theatre tables etc.

ONGC has been at the forefront in improving the infrastructure facilities through its initiatives carried out by its committed CSR division. Recently, in order to enhance the health infrastructure facilities, ONGC committed an aid of Rs. 31 lakh to Rajahmundry Government Hospital and Rs. 24 lakh to RDO of Amalapuram towards health infrastructure. The first instalment of this aid has been given.

Mr. Rao said ONGC is passionately committed to improving the health index and associated facilities in the operational areas of the company. The initiative to disburse aid was also attended by RMR Mandapaka, General Manager (HR/ER)-Head Support services, Rajesh Kalekuri, Manager (HR)-CSR, Krishnan Raju, general secretary (Southern Region), Petroleum Employees Union, Suresh -- secretary, PEU, Rajahmundry and Sudhakar Raju, executive member, PEU, Narsapur.
