One killed in road accident in Sangareddy

Two vehicles were burnt in an accident that took place near Ramayampet in Medak district late last night.

According to Sub-Inspector Praveen Kumar, a four-wheeler hit a two-wheeler, killing the driver of motor cycle Vinod Kumar (43) on the spot.

During the accident the two-wheeler was stuck under the wheels of the car and dragged for some distance generating sparks leading to a fire accident. Both the vehicles were completely burnt down. Sensing trouble, the inmates of the car got down from the vehicle and saved themselves.

Ramayampet police have registered a case and are investigating.
