Not just rats, GGH has snakes too

September 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:50 am IST - GUNTUR:

A snake appeared out of nowhere at the Government General Hospital Guntur on Friday morning, creating a minor commotion.

The snake was believed to have been seen near the canteen.

The snake was noticed by a group of sanitation personnel who immediately brought it to the notice of the hospital’s superintendent. The workers killed the snake and burnt it even before patients began to trickle into the hospital.

Police personnel inspected the GGH premises.

The GGH along with GMC has recently launched a massive cleanup of the hospital after a new born was bitten to death by rodents.
