Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to give his nod for the Rs.400 crore 100-bedded cancer hospital in Aganampudi in Visakhapatnam and he will participate in the function to lay foundation too. If everything goes well the medical centre would come up in two years.

Stating this to The Hindu, former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha member from Andhra Pradesh T. Subbarami Reddy added that the super speciality hospital, which would have the state-of-the-art technology and equipment, would be set up with the funds of the Department of Atomic Energy.
