Asserting that his government is making efforts to provide an effective and corruption-free administration, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said a new policy to provide various government services in a quick and transparent manner would be introduced soon.

"The aim of our government is speedy and comprehensive development of the State. We are trying to provide a transparent, accountable, corruption-free and effective administration to achieve the goal," he said, speaking after unfurling the National Flag at the Parade Grounds in Hyderabad.

Against the backdrop of the ongoing agitations over Telangana issue, he said the government is taking all steps to maintain law and order in the State.

Despite the atmosphere of political uncertainty prevailing in the State due to the ongoing agitations, he expressed confidence that people would have happy times in the future, Mr. Reddy said.

The government would soon come out with a new policy for land allotments to industries for ensuring transparency and preventing irregularities, he said.
