New IGP holds meet with SPs

Inspector General of Police, South Coastal Range, N. Sanjay, who assumed the office recently, took stock of the situation in the three districts of Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore at a meeting with the respective Superintendents of Police here on Wednesday.

The IGP said that he would soon visit the districts to get a firsthand account of the issues. He would also visit the Thullur region identified as the proposed capital region.

Earlier, the IGP told the media that he would give a top priority to law and order, crime and traffic related issues in the three districts falling under the South Coastal Range.

SPs Rajesh Kumar (Guntur Urban), Srikanth (Prakasam) and Senthil Kumar (Nellore) welcomed the new IGP.
