Narasimha Rao’s son passes away

P.V. Ranga Rao, son of former Prime Minister late P.V. Narasimha Rao died of heart attack at his residence in Himayatnagar here.

A bachelor, Ranga Rao (73), is survived by two brothers and four sisters. He was ailing for some time and the end came at around 2 am on Thursday. A two time MLA from Hanamkonda Assembly constituency, Mr. Ranga Rao served as Education Minister in the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Cabinet.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, AP Congress Committee president Botcha Satyanarayana, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu and others paid tributes to the deceased and recalled his services to the people.
