Naidu puts onus on Modi

March 01, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:01 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu has put the onus on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in delivering the world class capital he promised to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Recalling the announcement made by Mr. Modi at a public meeting in Tirupati that a world class capital would be constructed for Andhra Pradesh and how he had asked him to go round the best capitals across the world, Mr. Naidu said, “ Both of us have responsibility. Bifurcation was a political decision and a political decision should be taken on new capital too,” he added responding to a query in the media conference here on Saturday.

Had there been a thorough discussion on bifurcation as I demanded to do justice to both the Telugu speaking States, the present situation could have been avoided.
