TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu tried to woo the police personnel and other categories government employees by promising Pay Revision Commission and regularisation of services.
Addressing a public meeting at Kosigi in Kurnool district as part of his election campaign on Friday, he said the TDP government would be humane and offer the best service conditions to all categories of employees and immediately address the outstanding issues of Anganwadi workers besides taking steps to strengthen the Anganwadi centres.
Also, he promised houses for working journalists.
Mr. Naidu said the health scheme for public would be revamped by issuing NTR health cards to all eligible families and rendering it more simple and easy access to hospitals.
Under Sujala scheme, purified drinking water would be provided to all villages at Rs. 2 per 20 liters. Housing programme would also be recast by enhancing the unit cost to Rs. 1.5 lakh.
He reiterated the loan waiver for farmers and DWCRA groups which would provide substantial relief to a large population.
Mr. Naidu asked the Governor to accord permission for the arrest of KVP Ramachandra Rao, who was wanted by Interpol. It was time even for the Governor to prove his respect for the constitutionality and laws.
Mr. Naidu promised the people of Mantralayam constitutency saying that priority would be given to completion of pending projects and establishing a degree college at Kosigi. TDP nominees B.T. Naidu (parliament) and P. Tikka Reddy (Mantralyam Assembly), T.G. Venkatesh and others were present.
Mr. Naidu who was scheduled to visit five places in the district cut short his tour in view of the mourning on account of the death of Sobha Nagireddy in Nandyal and Allagadda.
However, he addressed a public meeting at Kosigi and took part in road show at Aluru and Srisailam.
