A.P. CM holds series of meetings in Singapore

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who reached Singapore on Monday, began holding a series of meetings with ministers and top officials in Singapore Government.

The Chief Minister had a breakfast meeting with Singapore Foreign Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam and Ambassador-at-large Gopinath Pillai, who has been appointed recently as special envoy to Andhra Pradesh by Singapore Government, which is preparing the masterplan for the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Later, Mr. Naidu had a one-on-one interaction with Trade and Industry Minister, S. Iswaran, which was followed by a high-level meeting between Andhra Pradesh delegation and Singapore officials.

Mr. Naidu is also scheduled to address a business seminar and interact with executives of various companies. With the Singapore Government agencies expected to finalise the masterplan in the coming days, Mr. Naidu may review its progress.
