Naidu elected TDLP leader

TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu was unanimously elected leader of the Telugu Desam Legislature Party at a meeting of the newly elected legislators held at Sri Venkateswara University campus in Tirupati on Wednesday evening.

Mr. Naidu’s name was proposed by senior leader and former Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy and seconded by P. Sujatha and N. Chinna Rajappa.

The TDP leader will be sworn in as Chief Minister at a grand function to be held between Guntur and Vijayawada on June 8.
