Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Bhuvaneswari called on Minister for Municipal Administration P. Narayana here on Saturday and offered their condolences on the untimely and tragic death of his son Nishith in a road accident in Hyderabad a few days ago.

Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu accompanied them.

Mr. Naidu and his wife arrived at the residence of Mr. Narayana located on the premises of Narayana Medical College and Hospital here and paid floral tributes at the portrait of Nishith.

The Chief Minister spent over an hour with Mr. Narayana and his family members, trying to console them on their personal loss.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naidu said that words fail to describe Mr. Narayana’s anguish. Tragedy struck the family at a time when Nishith, on successful completion of his studies in Singapore, started discharging the responsibilities he was entrusted with by his father in their company efficiently, he said.

“Nobody can bring back Nishith now. But Mr. Narayana and his family should continue to nurture their dreams and hopes. Mr. Narayana should aim at achieving the ideals for which he joined politics and public service,” the Chief Minister said. Stating that he was deeply moved on hearing the news while in the US, Mr. Naidu hoped that Mr. Narayana’s family would regain courage, overcome the unexpected shock, and continue the good work without getting demoralised.
