Telugu Desam Party president and Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday took strong exception to the attack on Seemandhra employees late on Saturday night in Rangareddy District while they were returning from the APNOGS' meeting.

Five minutes after he began his Atmagaurava Yatra from Nuzvidu in Krishna District, fumes bellowed from the engine of the special Open-top Vehicle in which he was travelling. Even before the security personnel and others reacted, the fumes subsided and Mr. Chandrababu Naidu continued his `Yatra' without any break and he did even get down from the vehicle. The exact cause was being investigated.

At the public meeting, he held Congress responsible for taking the decision of dividing the State just for the sake of winning some Parliament seats in coming elections. He asked people to defeat the Congress, which according to him was the only solution for the present crisis. He will continue his Yatra in Nuzividu, Thiruvuru and Mylavaram Assembly constituencies on Sunday.
