Party members set fire to the effigy of the TDP president

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Karimnagar town unit leaders under the leadership of local legislator Gangula Kamalakar have set fire to an effigy of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu in Karimnagar on Monday in protest against Mr Naidu’s opposition to the formation of separate Telangana State and launching yatra in Seemandhra region for the cause of united Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, the local legislator had launched a scathing attack against Mr Chandrababu Naidu for launching yatra in Seemandhra region and insulting the people of Telangana region. Ridiculing the TDP president’s “Atma gaurava” yatra, he alleged that Mr Naidu had betrayed the people of Telangana and self-respect of the people, who have been fighting for separate Telangana Sate for self-esteem and self-rule.

TRS town president S Ravinder Singh said that the true colours of Mr Naidu were exposed with his yatra in Seemandhra region.
