Naidu asks women groups to focus on online marketing

Naidu asks DWCRA groups to focus on house keeping service, livestock rearing, poultry, fisheries, banking correspondents and other sectors.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday asked the DWCRA groups to focus on online marketing of their products and services and expand their business manifold.

Addressing delegates at the annual general body meeting of the Streenidhi Parapathi Sahakara Samakhya Limited here, he said that there were many avenues for the DWCRA groups to explore more business opportunities. Suggesting to them to focus on house keeping service, livestock rearing, poultry, fisheries, banking correspondents and other sectors, he said that the State Government would extend all support to the groups.

“We need leaders, who can manage teams and lead the groups with commitment. Skill development is the need of the hour and the Government will provide all necessary help in developing the skills, besides suggesting measures to improve the marketing ideas,” said Mr. Naidu.

After sand reaches, the Government was considering to handover the nurseries cultivation to the DWCRA groups and the Government will purchase saplings from the nurseries, he added.
