J. Dhanalakshmi (36), a homemaker, along with her two children -- J. Naga Chandra (14) and J. Naga Sindhu (9) -- allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide, at Ramanagaram village in the town on Thursday.
Dhanalakshmi married J. Ravindra Reddy 15 years ago. The family was dependent on agriculture. Police are trying to find out the reasons for the deaths, said Vissannapet sub-inspector Ch. Durga Prasad.
