More Central police forces rushed to Andhra Pradesh

As Andhra Pradesh has been witnessing turbulent situation for the last few days with the fasts being undertaken by TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu and former Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on the farmers' issue and the expected submission of report by Justice B.N. Srikrishna Committee on Telangana issue, the Centre on Wednesday sent additional Central police forces to the State.

The first batch of additional forces is expected to reach the State on Thursday. More companies would be moved before December 31, when the Committee is likely to present its report to the Centre.
