If everything goes well, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu along with actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan will share the dais at public meetings in Telangana on April 24.

According to a tentative schedule, the three leaders will address a public meeting at Nizamabad followed by Karimnagar and fly down to Hyderabad to address another meeting at the Parade Grounds in the evening.

Mr. Kalyan, according to sources, has decided to vigorously campaign for Mr. Modi’s victory and evinced keen interest in participating in the public meetings. As the BJP and TDP draw up plans for joint campaigns, Mr. Kalyan will add star value. “He is a crowd-puller and it will be a value addition to the people who volunteer to attend the meetings to be addressed by Mr. Modi and Mr. Naidu,” a senior BJP leader said.

Campaigns in Seemandhra

Mr. Modi, according to TDP campaign managers, has also agreed to spare two days for campaigning in the Seemandhra region. Though the venues of the meetings have not been finalised yet, Mr. Modi is likely to address the first meeting in Seemandhra region tentatively on April 29 and another one in the first week of May before the polling day on May 7.
