Missing girls mislead police

Two girls who went missing from Anantapur town apparently hoodwinked the police by giving wrong information over phone. According to sources, two girls have been missing since Thursday and the One Town police registered a case in Anantapur. As they told that they were in Vijayawada, and the police launched a search for the girls. After a few hours, police realised that the girls had tricked them, and located their phone number in East Godavari district. No case has been registered in this regard, the police said.
