Minister distributes house site pattas

Minister for Minority Welfare Mohd. Ahmedullah gave away house site pattas here on Tuesday in Praja Patham program held at 30th division Balajinagar and Ukkayapalli in Kadapa.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister recollected that for a very long period people suffered from drinking water problems in the area and the late Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy brought this to the notice of Ms. Sonia Gandhi and got a sanction of Rs. 29 crores to meet the drinking water crisis by drawing water from the Penna river. The Minister and the Mayor P. Raveendranath Reddy inaugurated a water pipe line in the division.

The schemes introduced by the late Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will be continued, the minister asserted addressing the meeting . He urged the beneficiaries to utilise this opportunity and start construction of houses in the land given to them under this scheme.

The government is functioning with dedication and the Chief Minister Dr. Rosaiah is keen in fulfilling the late Chief Minister's schemes he added.

Praja Patham which was started by YSR in 2005 is being continued by Dr. Rosaiah and he urged all the Ministers and MLAs to extend their co-operation for a smooth governance . Kadapa Mayor P. Raveendranath Reddy also participated and gave away the house site pattas. Deputy mayor Nabi Rasool, commissioner John Samson and other officials participated in the Praja Patham program.
