Department of CSE in University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram campus — JNTU (K) is conducting five-day workshop beginning January 27 on “Research challenges and issues in Big Data and Cloud Computing, the first of its kind on the campus. Principal of the college G. Yesuratnam said on Sunday that ‘Big Data and Cloud Computing were the thrust areas in today’s IT field. The workshop will help researchers and PG students of various colleges. Eminent personalities from academia and industry would share their experiences . Prof. D. Rajya Lakshmi and Prof. R. Rajeswara Rao have been named coordinators .
