Maoists kill 2 more tribals

Maoists killed two more tribals in Yetapaka mandal of East Godavari district.

According to Assistant Superintendent of Police Fakeerappa K., Maoists abducted Madivi Chukka (25) and Madivi Joga (28) of Kamanathogu village in Yetapaka mandal on last Tuesday. Residents of the village found the bodies of the two about 1.5 kms away from their village on Sunday night and informed the police.

The ASP went to the village in Yetapaka mandal along with his team and recovered the bodies which are in decomposed state. Post mortem was done on Monday evening at Rampachodavaram government hospital.

Meanwhile, the ASP described the killing of three innocent tribals as cowardly act and said that all the three who lost their lives were Gothikoyas from Chattisgarh working on daily wage in Chinturu, Yetapaka, V.R. Puram and other merged mandals.
