Man, son found dead in tank

Krishnamurthy, 45, a sweeper in Sri Venkateswara University, and his son were found dead in Sri Venkateswara temple koneru at Devunikadapa in Kadapa town under suspicious circumstances on Sunday.

The sweeper was identified basing on a photograph in his pocket. His son has the name Pavitra written on his hand. Krishnamurthy, who worked in Tirupati, used to visit his family in Kadapa on every weekend, police said.

Police retrieved the bodies and sent them to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences hospital for post-mortem. Chinna Chowk Sub-Inspector Dhananjaya inspected the place and registered a case.
