In a bizarre incident two girls were found deserted allegedly by their father at Tirumala on Friday.

The TTD’s vigilance and security personnel who found the girls in poor health and wailing inconsolably at Sudarshan choultry, in the vicinity of the APSRTC bus stand, immediately rushed them to the Aswini Hospital for treatment.

The girls were identified as Deepa (8) and Lakshmi (5). The little girls, given their tender age, could not even properly give details of their residential address. All that they could articulate was that they hailed from Chintapalli village in Karnataka.

However, the girls who spoke in Kannada, revealed the names of their parents as Ramesh and Suma. They further said that they had come to the place along with her father on Thursday and that their youngest sister and mother were at home. The authorities were trying to gather further information from the sobbing girls to establish their identity.
