Mamata Banerjee calls up Vijayamma

In an interesting development, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee called up YSR Congress honorary president Y.S. Vijayamma on Sunday and urged the YSRC to join hands with the TMC and other like-minded parties.

Ms. Mamata told Ms. Vijayamma that there was a likelihood of snap polls in November and wanted the possibility of like-minded parties coming together to be explored. She also enquired about Mr. Jagan and recalled her association with YSR.
