Make excellence a habit, youth told

The First Satya Sai World Youth Festival held over the past three days, concluded at the Sai Kulwant Hall today evening amidst bhajans and musical services to Satya Sai Baba. Earlier in the day, the final day started off with light morning physical activities at the Hill view stadium.

The scene soon shifted to the Sai Kulwant Hall where speeches of satya sai devotees from across the world, who shared their stories of experiences with Satya Sai Baba.

In the plenary address, the second at the youth festival, Chandrasekhar Narayan, Director of Research, IBM, USA, reiterated that Satya Sai Baba’s teachings on education are meant for life and not for earning a living, only.

Mr. Chandrasekhar, who has close to fifty patents to his name and is currently working as the Director of Science and Technology Research at IBM’s Almaden Research Centre at San Jose, California, explained how one can pursue a successful career through the implementation of human values and he advised the youth to make excellence a habit.

Speaking at the Poornachandra Auditorium, R.J. Ratnakar, a trustee of the Sri Satha Sai Central Trust exhorted the youth to connect to their innernet instead of the internet reminding them that every problem has a solution and that success comes from having the right attitude.
