The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen has given wings to its campaign by taking it across the border. Not content with local support, it is enlisting the patronage and assistance of Gulf NRIs. A large number of Hyderabadis are working in Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries and the Majlis is keen on cashing in on their votes.

Party president Asaduddin Owaisi doesn’t want to leave anything to chance. He wants to rope in the support of Hyderabadis no matter where they are residing. Amidst his recent hectic campaigning, he took time off to address the Hyderabad community in Riyadh through a recorded message.

“Every single vote counts. Exercising the vote properly is vital to stop the march of communal forces”, he told the NRIs of Hyderabad origin gathered at a hotel under the banner of the Bazm-e-Ittehad, Riyadh chapter. Incidentally, Ahmeduddin Owaisi, the paternal uncle of Mr. Asaduddin, heads the Bazm-e-Ittehad, Saudi Arabia.
