Mahabubabad records highest rain in Andhra Pradesh

Mahabubabad in Warangal district recorded the highest rainfall of 5 cm in Andhra Pradesh whereas weather remained cloudy in state capital today.

Khammam district, Pargi in Rangareddy district, Shadnagar of Mahabubnagar and Sompeta in Srikakulam district recorded 4 cms of rainfall till 8.30 am, MeT department said.

The Met Department today forecast moderate to rather heavy rain or thundershowers at many places over Telangana region till the morning of October 20.

Rain occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana while Rayalseema region of the state received isolated rain, it said.

The Met Department also forecast occurrence of light to moderate rain or thundershowers at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and of isolated rain or thundershowers over Rayalaseema till the morning of October 20.
