The deity of Lord Kodandarama is taken in a flower-bedecked palanquin in Tirupati on Tuesday, as part of the ongoing Brahmotsavams.

Dressed up as ‘Mohini’, Lord Rama cast a spell on the devotees by sitting on a palanquin on the fifth day of the annual Brahmotsavams at TTD’s Sri Kodandarama temple here on Tuesday.

The palanquin was tastefully decorated with a variety of flowers, with ‘Mohini’ seated in style and taking a pleasure ride along the four Mada streets of the temples. The sacred ‘Srirama Padalu’ were taken on a procession around the temple after Mohini Avataram. In the evening, ‘Garuda Seva’ was performed when the deity of Lord Kodandarama was placed on the shoulders of the carrier Garuda and taken in a spectacular procession around the shrine.
