Lions Club to organise health camps in remote areas

Lions Club-Srikakulam and Apollo Hospitals of Visakhapatnam decided to organise health camps in remote areas of Srikakulam district to help poor patients to get treatment for diseases. Lions Club chairman Baratam Laxmana Rao and members Surangi Mohana Rao and K.Ammannaidu interacted with Apollo Hospitals chief executive officer of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh C. Sandeep for taking up the activities in backward areas of the district. Dr. Sandeep said that many people were not aware of the diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes and other problems due to lack of health facilities. He assured to screen more number of patients with the help of team of doctors of Apollo Hospitals-Visakhapatnam.

Lions Club msember Harikrishna requested to establish branch of the Apollo in Srikakulam to enable patients to get super specialty facilities in their vicinity.
