Left parties go door-to-door

The Left Parties have concentrated in their typical style by intensive door-to-door campaign and reaching out to people on the issues they will fight for.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) however had its share of road shows and public meetings addressed by leaders like Brinda Karat, Sitaram Yechury,V.Sinivasa Rao in Nalgonda and Khammam districts besides State leaders Tammineni Veerabhadram and B.V.Raghavulu.

The major draw CPI (M) campaigning are its cultural programmes to drive home their ideology and agenda for Telangana followed by door-to-door campaign and group meetings. The party workers not only campaigned among their support base but also extensively among middle classes.

The lone sitting CPI (M) MLA and contesting candidate Julakanti Ranga Reddy from Miryalaguda distributed booklets on the people’s issues raised by him in the Assembly.

The CPI leaders K. Narayana, Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy addressed public meetings in Nalgonda and Khammam apart from door-to-door campaign with support from its ally in this election Congress with emphasis on their contribution for Telangana creation and their resolve to protect the interest of minorities, SC, STs, peasants and working class and youth in the new Telangana State.
