LAWCET for admission to the three-year bachelors’ degree course in law and five-year integrated bachelors and masters degrees will be held on May 30.
LAWCET convenor Prof. S. Seshiah said the test would be conducted along with PGLCET.
Notification
Maintaining that the notification for the two exams had already been released on March 17, he said the last date for receiving application without fine was April 29.
The last dates for receiving applications with fines of Rs. 500, Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 1,500 will be May 7, 15 and 23, respectively.
The qualification for writing LAWCET and PGLAWCET is a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Intermediate or equivalent exam and graduation in law . The question paper for LAWCET, which will be in Telugu and English, will have a total of 120 questions with general knowledge and mental aptitude, accounting for 30 questions each with legal aptitude, accounting for the rest.
Examination centres
LAWCET will be held in Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam, while the entrance examination for PG courses will be organsied in Anantapur, Tirupati, Guntur and Visakhapatnam.
