District Collector Ch. Vijayamohan on Wednesday assured to develop Sultania Idgah on Hyderabad highway in Kurnool.
Stating that Kurnool MLA S.V. Mohan Reddy apprised him about the Idgah, he said facilities would be provided to perform prayers. The Collector told municipal engineers to survey the eight acres of land belonging to the Idgah and submit a report in two days and assured sanction of works.
He promised commencement of works within a week in view of the ensuing Ramzan festival. Mr. Mohan Reddy and Muslim religious elders took part.
