Kishan not keen on contesting polls

Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy has expressed reluctance to contest elections from Amberpet Assembly constituency.

Mr. Reddy said that he informed the national party about his desire to take up extensive campaigning and tour the entire Telangana region and not confine himself to Amberpet. The central leadership has promised to consider his request. There were alternative candidates to be fielded and the central party would take a decision soon in this regard.

He denied that he would be moving to Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
