The Telangana Congress leaders and activists found an avenue to vent their ire against former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

The Telangana party leaders who assembled at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday could not take lightly Mr. Kiran Reddy’s picture dotting the cut-out passed in the media room along with senior leaders including Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Senior leaders Mohd Ali Shabbir and Minister Danam Nagender displayed their ire by pasting the photograph of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad covering up Mr. Kiran Reddy’s face.

Mr. Kiran Reddy had been drawing flak from the Telangana Congress rank and file ever since he defied the party high command’s line and publicly aired his views against bifurcation of the State. The outgoing Chief Minister had finally called it quits from his post as well as the party after the bifurcation Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on February 19 and had been working on floating a new party.
