Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has shown the door to the bureaucrats, who had been given plum posting by former Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy a day ahead of his resignation from office.
On Tuesday, orders were issued shunting out K.S. Jawahar Reddy, Secretary, Irrigation and Command Area Development Department and N. Sridhar, Managing Director, A.P. Beverages Corporation. Both were key officials in the Chief Minister’s office.
Aditya Nath Das, Principal Secretary, Irrigation and CAD, has been retained in the same post cancelling his transfer while V. Nagi Reddy, Principal Secretary, PR and RD was made Principal Secretary, Irrigation and CAD.
The appointment of M. Surender as Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies was cancelled. He was given his new posting only recently by Mr. Kiran Reddy government.
On Monday, the government revoked transfers of some IAS officers and brought back G. Anantaramu as Transport Commissioner, who approached Central Administrative Tribunal against his transfer.
Mr. Kiran Reddy government had transferred him to Social Welfare Department.
