Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and his Cabinet colleagues – N. Raghuveera Reddy and other State Congress leaders undertook a whirlwind tour of four Assembly constituencies in Karnataka to campaign for party nominees.

Mr. Reddy, on arrival at the Bengaluru airport, was accorded a warm welcome by party leaders. He proceeded to address the election meeting at C.V. Raman Nagar in Bengaluru along with party candidate Ramesh.

Later, he proceeded to Anekal segment to campaign for Shivanna, the Congress nominee.

Similarly, he shared the election campaign with Jayanagar Congress candidate Venugopal and Basavanagudi nominee Chandrasekhar.

During his campaign to woo the Telugu-speaking people in Karnataka, the Chief Minister said that Congress alone could ensure nation’s integrity and all round development. He said that while the Congress was concerned about the welfare of people, BJP was steeped in corruption. He urged voters to give a thumping mandate for the Congress party to rule Karnakata.

Minister T.G. Venkatesh, MLC M. Ranga Reddy, AICC secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and Mahila Congress chief Ganga Bhavani also participated.
