Several supporters of TDP aspirant Bendalam Ashok on Monday ransacked house of Kinjarapu Rammohan alleging that he was responsible for the allocation of Itchapuram seat to Bharateeya Janata Party.

Several TDP leaders of Itchapuram, Sompeta, Kaviti and other areas staged a massive protest at the residence of Srikakulam Lok Sabha candidate Rammohan. They raised slogans against Kinjarapu family alleging that it was responsible for the allocation of seat to the BJP though the party did not have much cadre in the border town.

The candidate’s staff tried in vain to stop the agitationists in the house. Supporters of Bendalam Ashok had heated argument with Latchanna, personal assistant of Mr. Rammohan.

The TDP leaders fear that Mr. Rammohan would face rough weather in the entire Lok Sabha constituency with the agitations at Patapatnam and Narasannapeta, which were also considered for the BJP in the district.
