Kinjarapu family shows strength as Atchannaidu visits Srikakulam

Kinjarapu family shown its strength in Srikakulam during the first ever visit of K. Atchannaidu to the district on Thursday, after being sworn in as Minister. Mr. Atchannaidu who came to the district after assuming charge was given rousing reception at Pydibhamavaram.

Hundreds of party leaders and workers gathered at the industrial town to show loyalty to Kinjarapu family which came to the limelight during 2014 polls by registering a victory in the district.

TDP MP candidate Kinjarapu Rammohan won from Srikakulam LS seat and Mr. Atchannaidu got elected from Tekkali Assembly seat. Out of seven Assembly seats in the Parliamentary segment, the TDP lost only Patapatnam seat. Mr.Chandrababu Naidu has rewarded Kinjarapu family by offering the portfolio of Minister of Labour to Mr. Atchannaidu. The family was in jubilant mood as it could get upper hand over former Minister Kala Venkata Rao’s group and team of former Minister Gautu Shyam Sundar Shivaji. Mr. Atchannaidu got the Ministry despite the presence of two other senior leaders.

Former Speaker Pratibha Bharati, new MLAs such as Bendalam Ashok (Itchapuram), Baggu Ramanamurthy (Narasannapeta) and Kuna Ravikumar (Amadalavalasa) extended their support to Mr. Atchannaidu, They asked the latter to resolve pending problems in their respective constituencies. All of them garlanded statue of former Union Minister Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu in Srikakulam and addressed the party workers.

Mr. Atchannaidu thanked party workers saying that the party could win majority seats for their hard work in the last ten years. He hoped that the TDP would win Patapatnam, Rajam and Palakonda in the next elections. He assured that he would strive hard to get more funds for the development of the district.
