Andhra Pradesh SC and ST Corporation Chairman Karem Sivaji on Monday assured that the grievances of Lakshmipet victims would be brought to the notice of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu very soon.

He interacted with the family members of the five dalits who were brutally murdered on June 12, 2012. Several victims told Mr. Sivaji that the government had not yet provided jobs to them. They also sought funds for the development of Lakshmipet as a model village and implementation of welfare schemes to get livelihood locally. They also sought lands for dalit farmers. Mr. Sivaji met Srikakulam Collector P. Lakshmi Narasimham and enquired about proposals aimed at helping the victims’ families.
